General Terms and Conditions of competitions
The Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts will occasionally offer giveaways as part of competitions run by specific promoters. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by both the following Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts terms and conditions and any additional requirements as set out by the specific competition promoter:
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- Except for the items offered in the prize package, all expenses are the winner’s sole responsibility.
- If offered as part of the competition, flights are subject to availability and must be taken on the specified dates, with travel to/from the airport the responsibility of the winner.
- Seating at the specified performance/s will be selected by the Festival. The winner will need to advise if there are any specific access requirements.
- The winner will be contacted using the details provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within two working days they will cease to be eligible to win the prize and the Festival reserves the right to redraw the prize.
- The Festival’s decision regarding the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Neither the Festival nor the promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Neither the Festival nor the promoter is liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning.
Win a Wellington Light Cycles Weekend Terms and Conditions
- Buy a family pass (Timed or Anytime Ticket) between 26 April – 3 May to be in to win. You must have purchased your ticket by 11.59pm on Friday 3 May 2024 to be entered in to win.
- Winner will be announced the week commencing 6 May and contacted using details provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within two working days, the Festival reserves the right to redraw the prize.
- Booking period applies to dates between 11 May - 9 June only.
- Return Domestic flights (New Zealand) for up to four people courtesy of Wellington Airport are provided as part of the prize. Flights are subject to availability.
- Two nights’ accommodation are provided as part of the prize package courtesy of Boulcott Suites, rooms are subject to availability.
- The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included, including (where applicable) transport (including airport transfers), spending money, insurance, additional accommodation, room service, in-room expenses, meals and all other incidentals.
- Wellington Airport, Boulcott Suites, Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for Wellington Airport, Boulcott Suites, and Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts to use the winner’s details and any photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference if required.
- All employees working at Wellington Airport, Boulcott Suites, and Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
- Contact details must be provided to be eligible to enter and you must have opted in to hear from the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts.
